農曆新年
農曆新年意味著農曆新年的開始。 亞洲國家傳統上慶祝，持續長達十六天，每個農曆新年標誌著十二生肖之間的過渡。 在這個慶祝活動中，家人、朋友和同事之間交換裝有現金和禮物的紅包，象徵著新的一年吉祥如意。 遊行也經常組織，以慶祝新年的到來。 由於這在許多亞洲國家被認為 是重要的國定假日，人們利用假期返回家鄉與家人團聚。 在中國客家文化中，農曆新年以“舞麒麟”慶祝，也被稱為舞麒麟。 這些舞獅有別於過年時常見的傳統舞獅，舞步、花樣和音樂都別具一格。 客家武術文化與麒麟文化密不可分。
